Meet The Team

Sewing has been a part of Bev's life since the age of 5, growing from a childhood passion into the foundation of the business today.  She wears two very different hats:  handling the administrative side of things:  inventory, invoices, billing, etc-  while also being the hands that sew items together into their final product.  Her dedication to both the craft and the customer, as well as the teamwork with the others on the team, is what keeps everything running smoothly.  Even more special is the opportunity to share this journey with her family, passing down her skills and creating lasting memories together in the workshop.

Tony is the steady hand behind the scenes at The Golden Needle.  As Bev's Husband and right-hand man, he does mountains of prep work that brings each piece to life - from making the cording, ruffles, ties and lots more to helping tie the finishing details together.  As head of Quality Control, Tony has the final say - if it doesn't pass his inspection, it doesn't leave the shop.  He also oversees packaging and shipping, making sure that every order gets where it's supposed to go (and in good shape).  Around here, he's known as the dad and grandpa of the business - full of heart, a little bit of wisdom, and just enough opinions to keep things interesting.  And of course, he proudly holds his most important role: Chief Coffee Deliverer for Bev

As the oldest of the Goldstein's four children, Caitlyn is the one trusted with the little details that make a big difference.  She takes on many of the more time-consuming tasks that bring pieces to life.  Whether she is flipping ties, iron stacks of pieces, setting rhinestones, or jumping in to help sew when the orders pile up, she handles it all with care and focus.  It is a joy to see the craft passed down to her.  Beyond the work itself, though, the time spent in the workshop sharing both skills and laughter, is something truly treasured.

Maleah, the third child out of four, has been a great help in the cutting department.  Making sure every project starts out accurately at the cutting table, she prepares each piece with precision and care.  When things get busy, she has been quick to jump on the sewing machine and lend a hand during busy times, to help keep things on track.  Her quick wit and sense of humor bring joy to the workday - there's never a dull moment in the workshop, even if it leaves us raising an eyebrow now and then!

This beautiful, blonde ginger husky plays an important role in the day to day rhythm of the shop.  She makes sure that no one stays seated on their hiney too long, always reminding it's time to get up, stretch, and taking a much-needed walk.  Whether she is asking to go outside or gently insisting on a break for both herself and her human, she keeps things balanced.  With a soft signature howl on cue, she may not be allowed in the workroom, but she is a deeply loved part of the family and the heart behind it all.

Mocha takes her responsibilities very seriously - especially when it comes to keeping an eye on the neighborhood from her post on the back of the couch.  She's the first to alert the household when a UPS or FedEx delivery arrives, making sure nothing goes unnoticed.  When she's not on watch, she can be found reminding everyone (loudly) that she is, in fact, never fed and is in desperate need of snacks.  While she's not allowed in the workroom, her presence is always known, and her dedication to both security and snack time keeps things lively.
